Guidance is what management said, not our forecast. Each row shows the quarter of the call it comes from. Not investment advice.
How we picked them
Our ranking covers 1,600+ listed companies. Each earnings call is read for the revenue growth band and the margin direction management guided to, and the company is placed in a band from 1 to 5 on each. This list keeps only names whose latest call was Q2 FY27, then Q1 FY27, with a market cap of at least ₹1,000 Cr, in the API's ranked order. Each row shows the exact guidance, and position is not a score. The full method is on the methodology page.
3 of the ten have a market cap under ₹5,000 Cr. Stocks that small trade thin volumes on a normal day, and a one-hour holiday session is thinner. Use limit orders. The wider list is at potential multibagger stocks, and the non-festival version of this list is best shares to buy now.

What Muhurat trading is
Diwali opens a new Samvat year in the Hindu calendar, and Samvat 2083 starts this Laxmi Pujan. Traders have long opened their account books that evening, and the exchanges give them a session to place a first, symbolic order. BSE began it in 1957 and NSE joined in 1992.
The orders are real. Trades made in the session create settlement obligations like any other trading day. Equity cash trades follow the current T+1 cycle, with the exact date set by the clearing calendar.

Both indices closed higher in all six sessions, by between 0.07% and 0.87% on the day. That is six one-hour samples. It says little about how Samvat 2083 will go, and none of the stocks above is promised the same.
Frequently asked questions
What is muhurat trading?
Muhurat trading is a short special session that NSE and BSE hold on Diwali, which marks the start of the new Samvat year. BSE has run it since 1957 and NSE since 1992. Trades are real and carry normal settlement obligations, but most participants place small token orders as a ritual rather than trade actively.
When is muhurat trading in 2026 and what are the timings?
Sunday, 8 November 2026. Per NSE circular NSE/CMTR/76941 dated 19 October 2026, the equity pre-open runs 2:05 to 2:20 pm and continuous trading runs 2:20 to 3:30 pm IST. BSE has announced matching timings. Confirm against the exchange circular on the day.
How were these muhurat stocks chosen?
They come from our ranking of 1,600+ listed companies, which sorts each on what management said about revenue growth and margins on its latest earnings call. We kept names with a Q2 or Q1 FY27 call and a market cap of at least ₹1,000 Cr, best-ranked first. The method is on our methodology page.
Is this investment advice?
No. It is research based on what companies told analysts on their own calls. Guidance can be missed, and we give no target prices or return estimates. Check a company's filings and your own risk limits before placing any order.
